Coving in epoxy flooring refers to the process of creating a seamless transition between the floor and the wall by forming a curved surface which is joining the wall and the floor, typically at a 45° angle or a radius shape. Coving hence is essential in environments that require hygiene, easy cleaning, and chemical resistance.
Why Coving is Used in Epoxy Flooring

Coving Installation Process
The suface of the corners are prepared by grinding and sanding if required. Once it's done, it's cleaned and dried and kept free for contamination.
A trovel is used to apply epoxy mortar or putty to form the curvature. Radius and height is adjusted according to the need.
The cove is then shaped and smoothed to achieve dezired texture. Once cured, it's coated with epoxy.
